SFDR-CISD Names February CTE Students of the Month

San Felipe Del Rio CISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) recently named its February CTE students of the month. The CTE students of the month are nominated by one of the 40 CTE teachers in order to be considered. They are selected based on academic achievement, leadership qualities in their CTE Programs, and outstanding school performance. 

Of the 21 CTE Programs and 12 Career Clusters, three CTE students were selected as February’s students of the month. 

From Engineering Essentials CTE Course, Anaid Diaz was nominated by Nerissa Winn and also participates in Track, Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country and Flag Football. 

From the Principles of Audio/Video CTE Course, Teresa Mayorga was nominated by Arabella Villarreal. 

From the Construction Tech II CTE Course, Miriam Cadena of Early College High School and a member of Band, was nominated by Alejo Alvizo.
