Del Rio Rocks Out: Rocking Loud Music Fest a Huge Hit with Locals

President Tito and Bad Company share an announcement with attendees

If you saw motorcycles lined up outside the Whitehead Memorial Museum, you were passing by one of Del Rio's coolest events to happen. It was cloudy, cool, and wet this past Saturday... but that didn't stop the local group, Bad Company, from hosting their first-ever "Rocking Loud Music Fest"! A music fest that brought the community together in a show of appreciation for Del Rio's old rock scene and our veterans.

Bad Company is a veteran patriot-based motorcycle club that is not just in Del Rio but all over the nation. Their President, "Tito" explains that they hosted this event to, "pay tribute to not only Del Rio's old rock scene but our veterans as well, and to bring more people to the beautiful Whitehead Museum," one of Val Verde's only full-time public museums. "The reason we wanted to have it here is to kind change it up a bit, I know that most of the scene here in Del Rio is gonna be either country or something like that. So we wanted to do something different, a little out of the ordinary..." President Tito shares.

Plenty of friendly faces, delicious food, and music that attracted many to stand in support of the playing bands. Bands in attendance were Lazer and the Jackrabbits, We Inertia, Agony, and Semper Acerbus. Some of the bands performing were brought in from out of town and said that Del Rio's community seems like a great community to celebrate music.

"The turnout that happened today is just phenomenal, I am very proud of everybody, all the vendors, all the people that came together to make this possible. Shoutout to the Del Rio Chapter and Eagle Pass Chapter for making this happen." He shares visibly happy with the turnout. We can't wait to attend the next Rocking Loud Music Fest!
